I will score in the IPL one day too' - Sarfaraz Khan asks the Delhi Capitals to show faith in him
Sarfaraz Khan is one of the most underrated uncapped players in the game. The aggressive batter has not been successful in creating an impact over the long term despite representing India at two ICC U-19 World Cup tournaments in 2014 and 2016.

The Delhi Capitals selected Sarfaraz at his base price of INR 20 lakhs during the IPL 2022 mega auction. The rising cricketer has urged his new team to trust him as he's excited to wear the new jersey in the upcoming Indian Premier League.

If someone gives me that confidence, I can do better: Sarfaraz Khan
When no one believed I could play red ball, but I knew I could if I got the chance because I had worked on it for four or five years. Likewise, I will score in the IPL one day as well," Sarfaraz Khan told The Indian Express.

He has already been a part of two IPL teams: the Royal Challengers Bangalore from 2015 to 2018 and the Punjab Kings between 2019 and 2021. It is noteworthy that the middle-order sensation has accumulated  441 runs at an average of 23.21, including a half-century.

He may have lost his mojo after his IPL performances, but Sarfaraz has rediscovered it with his morale-boosting Ranji Trophy performances. He finished as the second-highest run-getter with 551 runs in just three games at an impressive average of 137.75. This year's tournament begins on March 26, and he will be hoping for a successful campaign.

Delhi Capitals will open their IPL 2022 campaign against the five-time winners Mumbai Indians at the CCI Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on March 27.
